Tapped by the New York Times as one of “65 Movies to See This Winter,” this story-telling tour careens through the brilliant six-decade career of photojournalist Schapiro, delivering an intimate you-are-there perspective on the late 20th-century.  Whether on the road with Martin Luther King, Jr., hanging with the Kennedys on Christmas morning or shooting Marlon Brando on the set of THE GODFATHER, Schapiro caught the spirit of the times for magazines including Life, Look, Time, and more.  The artist himself relates the colorful stories behind scores of his iconic images, creating a unique narrative of our American life and culture populated by towering influential figures including Rosa Parks, John Lewis, Barbra Stresand, James Baldwin, Andy Warhol, David Bowie, Muhammad Ali, and many more.
