The Donald M. Ephraim Sun & Stars International Film Festival is set to return to Palm Beach County for its 5th season.
The festival, which is presented by MorseLife, will include a lineup of new and award-winning films from around the world, according to an announcement. That lineup will be released later this year, organizers said.
Screenings will take place from Jan. 28 to Feb. 10 at cinemas throughout the county, organizers said. Last year’s films were shown at Glazer Hall in Palm Beach, the Rinker Playhouse at the Kravis Center for the Performing Arts in West Palm Beach and Hooky Entertainment in suburban Delray Beach.
“We will offer motion picture treats for every audience, from sophisticated cinephiles to popcorn-munching film fans,” festival cofounders Donald M. Ephraim and Terri Sriberg said in the announcement.
In addition to screenings, there will be opportunities for audiences to engage with filmmakers and production team members, Ephraim and Sriberg said.
The festival also will include an opening night reception Jan. 28 at the Kravis Center, 701 Okeechobee Blvd., West Palm Beach.
The gala will begin with a 6 p.m. cocktail reception followed by a premiere screening. Tickets are $90 and will be available to purchase at Kravis.org once the lineup is announced, organizers said.
